1st INTERNATIONAL ACTION ART FAIR
Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & Islands and International ACTION ART have the pleasure to invite you to the 1st INTERNATIONAL ACTION ART FAIR that is going to take place on 19-24 June 2018 at Chalkida, in Evia Island, in Greece.
Place and time of the art fair: Chalkida, Evia Island, Greece, June 19-24, 2018
Participants of the art fair: professional artists will take part in the symposium. The selection of participants will be competition-based, taking into consideration the submitted materials (application form, CV, and visual information which satisfies the below mentioned requirements).
Registration cost: (for 5 stays) 395 €
Organizers provide (within the price) :
1. Accomodation in Lucy Hotel**** in Chalkida (with breakfast and five meals (buffet)
2. Transportation from Athens to Chalkida and return with a bus.
3. Recreation, tours around the city of Athens and visits in significant monuments, museums and sites and also tours around Chalkida and surroundings.
4. Publicity opportunities (possibilities to present artists’ creative works; information in mass media)
5. The canvases that the artist are going to paint.
6. Final symposium exhibition (opening on June 24, 2017).
Artists provide :
1. Covering of the international travel expenses to Athens
2. Specific materials and tools for work (except the canvases) for 1-2 paintings that will create
* The artists are not obligated to donate their paintings
Awards:
1. Certificate of the art painting symposium,
2. Award from Club for UNESCO of Piraeus with the signature of Mr. Ioannis Maronitis, Member of the Executive Board of the World Federation for UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations for Europe and North America for the participation
3. Award from International Action Art for the participation
4.Certificate of attending Masterclasses
Application Procedure:
Applications must be submitted electronically till May 10, 2018. To apply for Symposium, applicant has to complete.ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.

2. Portfolio (photos of at least seven (5) works, these works must be completed in the last 3 years). Other informative materials (catalogues, postcards, etc.) may be attached in electronic format.
Evaluation Procedure:
The Art Fair Jury will consider the applications, and selected artists will receive invitations to participate in the Symposium. The invited participants should confirm their participation within 5 days after receiving the invitation.
